Brine

Ingredients:

- 1 gallon cold water

- 1/2 cup salt

- 1/2 cup light brown sugar (or honey, maple syrup...)

Combine ingredients in a pan on the stove. Bring to boil. Cool. Pour over chicken. Put in the fridge overnight.


The following day, drain the brine. Then season your chicken as desired. Bake it, grill it, smoke it, crock-pot it, cut it up and fry it.

So many delicious options!
